The Welling Court neighborhood in Astoria, Queens has several blocks of murals, graffiti, and even some [loose interpretations of] fine art. This hungry bird is tucked away, down a long residential alleyway that has few non-resident visitors. With a locked beak and sad eyes, he's on sale for just a buck 28. I'm not a huge fan of birds that don't play baseball, and this one gives off a particularly grim vibe, but he's a hell of a conversation starter.
